Most of my close friends would have known that i'm allergic to the sun, more accurately, i get sunburn very easily. The degree of sunburn is so great that about 2 hours after being under the sun, my arms and legs would be damn itchy and full of rashes. I would be scratching myself like crazy and applying aloe vera gel every 10 minutes. Even taking antihistamine doesn't relieve my sufferings. After i got home, i would have to hide myself at home for at least a week to recover.
Until a few days ago, i found out that the sun is not the culprit for making me into a barbecued lobster. IT WAS THE SUNBLOCK ITSELF!!!!
Once i reached Langkawi, i applied sunblock generously all over my arms and legs. Within 2 hours, rashes started to appear on my arms and legs. The inner sides of my elbows and knees got so red and swollen that it was painful to walk or bend my elbows. It had totally ruin my holiday and made my friends worried about me.
On the second day, we went island hopping to Pulau Beras Basah and Pulau Dayang Bunting. For most of the time, i would be sitting under a shady tree to avoid the sun, watching others having fun by the beach. So pathetic, right?
Surprisingly, my friends managed to persuade me to play along at Pregnant Maiden Lake. I still remembered that it was about 12 noon and the sun rays were so intense, piercing my delicate skin. To my amazement, the rashes subsided and i didn't feel any itchiness for the next few hours. Most probably, it was due to the unpolluted lake water. I felt so much better that i got to enjoy the rest of my holiday :P
I shall post some of the pictures soon....
By the way, Happy belated Birthday Peh Yin, Samantha and Sam !!!! & MERRY CHRISTMAS

I'm back!!!
What an exciting holiday I had! Almost immediately after EOS, I went to Singapore for a short trip with my SBU girlfriends. Then, two days after the trip to the Merlion Land, my father and I flew to Guangzhou. I’d already expected to have a boring time in China as it was a business trip. My uncle and aunt were there as well for trip and they were the ones who sponsored my air tickets...yayy!!! I don’t mind at all being a 'vase' as long as I can tag along…hehe :P
However, the trip turned out to be an eye-opening one. Seriously, an eye-opening one! It wasn’t that I learnt how to negotiate in a business trading or how to persuade the dealers for better deals, ok, maybe a tiny bit lar. The main thing was that I got to see and experience things from the point of view of a traveler, not a tourist. I didn’t do what a tourist normally do, like visiting touristy places like museum, tea factory, temples etc. We were on our own, free and easy!!!
So, below is just a brief account of my maiden trip to 广州.....
