I need to be inspired...

I have been very lazy this few months. Nothing motivates me. The fact that my first class test would be in less than a week time also fails to make me study. What happened??? I'm lazy to blog, lazy to do reports (btw, i have to 2 reports which are due 2 days from now)....

Btw, now i know what is it feels like to memorise drugs name. They are soooo not related!!! I always got confused whether the -olols like propanolol, atenolol, etc are beta blockers or calcium channel blockers. My brain doesn't seem to sort them clearly. Besides, i can't remember the drug names for the classes of antiarrhythmic drugs...HOW??? Exam in less than a week time....All i remember are -dipine, -olol, -sartan, -mide, etc but no idea what they belong to....

Inspiration, where are you???

PBL is interesting and it makes me understand better in lectures. But the down side is that i only know my part, meaning, i only remember what i searched the most and the part which i presented/talked about. The rest of the discussion session is just a vague image in my memory. I know the main objective of PBL is to encourage students to do self-learning and knowledge-sharing through discussion. However, our hectic timetable made us 'divide and conquer' the learning issues that we have previously decided on. At the end, we managed to 'divide' but not 'conquer'....

PSD is also very interesting. It's a session where we get to practice our pharmacy skills on simulated patients. On the first session, we were given two situations with the first setting at a community pharmacy and the second one in a hospital pharmacy. Quite a number of funny incidences like asking too many questions that the patient got irritated, introducing oneself as 'I'm the pharmacist in-charged TODAY', being 'chiong hei' by explaining too much about the drugs and their side-effects...
