Then, i went straight to Jusco Maluri to get all the ingredients except fresh basil leaves. Somehow the basil leaves came in quite big bags and i only need a 1/4 cup of them. By the way, i realised that i don't fancy italian parsley as it tasted stronger/weirder than chinese parsley . The bill totalled up to slightly more than rm50, which i find it not that cheap afterall to prepare a simple meal...
It took me almost 3 hours to prepare everything from washing, cutting, blending, frying, simmering, etc to a decent presentation on the dining table.
My dad said that it was fine but adding a little more salt would make it tastier. No comment from my brother but he kept adding cheese powder. My mom didn't eat much as she wasn't feeling very well.
I think it tasted ok but at second thought, it was even better than the one i tried at Pasta Mania, Pavillion....hehehehe
